🏈 Next 3 games could be 3 straight against the AP Top 15.

No team in the 76 year history of the AP Poll has faced that in a 3 week period and won all 3 games. Oklahoma won 3 straight in 2000, but it was in a 4 week period. Had a bye between the 2nd and 3rd games.

Again. If TAM beats the barn and the cowbells then TAM will be Top 15.

They'll need help outside of winning those games the way I see it. IE: some losses coming from several of the teams ranked 15th to 21st. If you look at those teams, and their schedules over the next two weeks, it's hard to find the losses.

Michigan @ Nebraska is a possibility and thinking TTU loses to Kansas State isn't a stretch. Louisville dropping their game at home to Cincy?

Stanford has Wash. State and Colorado. I don't see a loss there. UofSC with UT and UArk is two wins as well at a cursory glance especially with both games in Cola.

That would be a neat addition to the trivia trophy case. I think it'll be a hard one to reach for A&M though...

I stand corrected. Texas did it in 2008. #1 Oklahoma, #11 Missouri, and #7 Oklahoma State. Lost to #6 Texas Tech the fourth week. Don't know why it was being reported in 2010, when Bama faced that challenge, that it had never been done before. That is what I based my comment on. I knew it wasn't done then and had not been done since then.

Maybe reporters meant that no team had ever beaten three top 15 teams consecutively when those teams each had a bye week. I dunno. There are so many stats it's hard to keep them all straight.
