There's a rumor floating around that Gehrig Dieter is transferring to Alabama.

Dieter was second on the team with 1033 yards, had 93 receptions, and had an average of 73 YPG.

For what it's worth, he tore Tennessee a new one last year and came down with an outstanding catch

I could see his addition go along the lines of how Mullaney's role played out. Mullaney brought a lot of poise, savy, and experience and often served as an on field assistant. His ability to get his body between a defender and the ball, proper cuts, technique, little hints to the game that only come from experience where simple speed won't get it done.
