[It Takes Eleven]

A new Turnpike Troubadours album, The Price of Admission, debuted last week, I think a nice rebound from their prior offering.



The opening cut, On the Red River, is a tearjerker for me, but there is a nice mix in there.

This is like a Pentecostal preacher. I like what I hear...but the delivery (twang) is hard for me to get past.

I absolutely love Turnpike, they’re one of my favorite bands. My girlfriend got us tickets to see them at Red Rocks next week for Valentines. Fantastic album, but I’ve liked all of their albums

I had to go listen, the name didn't ring a bell. Really appreciate the recommendation. I believe I'd heard Ode to Bourbon before, just didn't know the group name. They will be in Cullman next month, but it's the three day Rock the South, so I'll keep them on watch for a regular concert.
