First thing I hope to do is snatch the motor out and freshen' it up.

While the motor is out I want to clean the engine compartment and repaint it. Hope to start on that this summer.

You planning on running synthetic? Assume you can run it w/o issue in the older cars, never really looked.

Not sure if you saw that oil analysis I posted in the Quad forum, might be interested in that at some point - depending on what you are going to do to the trans, engine, rear end fluid.

Plano, I'll check it out. I figured as little as I drive it.....I might put some Royal Purple in it.

I change the oil myself in all my other vehicles. I have always been a Castrol guy. After a vehicle gets about 100k on it, I run a quart of Lucas in it every oil change. I have always had good luck with that.

Castrol has a synthetic (outta Germany) that is suppose to be really good, think the only place you can get it at is AutoZone.

I use Mobil 1 in both vehicles, you can get 5 qt jugs at Wal-Mart for $25@.
