I couldn't get the font just right and yes the numbers are small. 3D modeled of old style Riddell helmet.

I liked the Pro Combat helmets with the subtle houndstooth in the stripe but yeah Im not really feelin that.

Well thank God it's not like the awful stuff they wear at Oregon.

I like it. I'd like to see the houdstooth colars come back we did a few years ago.
I didn't see the ones with the houndstooth stripe.
I personally would like to see more houndstooth.

I know the old school folks like Bob and Betty Bluehair that have had thier same seats in BDS
since 1952 arnt in it for any kind of change. I wouldn't like anything radical...just a mild touch o' the houndstooth here and there.

I'd also like to see the white headgear come back from time to time. Not perm. just for special games.

For the record, I hate the idea of houndstooth helmet or any football apparel. I created this thread because it was time for the annual houndstooth helmet or jersey thread. :moon3: :biggrin_blue:

While we're going extreme might as well make those Ducks have a hideous new addition :icon_eek:. Let's go down the Oregon checklist: ugly contrasting colors (check), metallic and iridescent paint (check), chrome (check), feathers (check)

I really liked em. I did like those special jerseys you're talking about in either '06 or '07 with the just the houndstooth collars too tho.

i will admit though I liked the pro combat uni's the subtle houndstooth was not bad like the normal print is? Maybe they will bring them out again sometime. Not all the time but once every few years would be OK.

Damn i like that. And i'm not a kid i'm 41...but i really really like that.
And yeah i remeber those pro combats from '10 now. I liked them but didn't like how the Houndstooth was subdued.

I know you tradtionalists & Alums like theing as they are and i agree. But every once in a while. Once in a crimson moon....lets stir things up a bit.
It ain't gota be permanent.
