The last time I bought a mattress I went to O'Charley's and had a steak with their potato soup. I was FULL. Sleepy full. I went to the store and laid down on their mattresses...just to see which one "fit."
I "slept" on a Temperpedic a few weeks ago. Not a bad "lay" in both senses of the word.
@XXL TideFan I think you will have to do the shopping on this, just because of how you and the wife sleep together. You could go to Badcock & More there are going out of business.
Appreciate the input. Did kinda like @TerryP , went to Freddie’s had burger, fries, shake. Then went and test drove beds. Ended up with the tempur-pedic luxe breeze.

I married into a furniture family. When my FiL was alive he had a partial interest in a manufacturer in Tupelo. I’ve seen truckloads of recliners sell for $69-$109 ea wholesale and mark up to $300-$400. Depends on what’s hot but you can count on 300% markup. Tooling always has to be amortized into the piece price.
