And that's right? Why?

Am I reading this correctly in that Jon is saying "What's wrong with the NCAA making themselves look like they have the best interest of the student athlete at heart" when they don't in this situation.

"The NCAA's multi-year scholarship rule, even if it's more symbolic than substantive..."

Why is it so difficult for some to understand symbolism is just that...it has no substantive value!

So sounds like Georgia will add themselves to the list of four year commitments (what if it takes someone 6 years to graduate) - the question, do you keep a kid even if he can't commit to his/her end of the agreement/commitment.

I don't see this being a big enough sell to help in their recruiting - as I really believe this is the ONLY reason they are doing this. Thank you AJC for keeping a few teams in the news
