We don't even have 20 guys, that's not like Saban at all. Very interesting stuff. We have some good guys, but damn, can't remember us losing out to so many guys on NSD. Glad to pick up Surtain, but no other real surprises and we lost a few we thought we'd land. So I can understand why we went backwards in the ranking.

Heck, Clemson only has 17 (1 less than us) and is 5 spots ahead of us. And Dabo has been to the NC game the last 3 years with classes as low as 14 starting in 2012. A class like this will give him some Lambos and Ferraris.

The 5* guys is what I don't get. We had a lot in our sights and landed 2, while UGA and Clemson landed 8 and 6, respectively. That's not like Bama.

Though I am also disappointed, a championship in the hand is worth two in recruiting. We have five. If all of our opponents dreams come true, they will not duplicate what Bama has done. I am not convinced we won’t win more either.

The real story would be how many guys wanted to commit, but didn't get the opportunity... Seems like this year's crop of priorities were genuinely waiting until the last day. It's a dangerous game to wait with them... Usually Saban wins most of those battles, not today.
