📝 National Signing Day - 2018

Both, apparently. Anyway, it was good info... Give the dude credit if you're going to complain when he gets it wrong. Or just keep complaining, whatevs.

He's already brought more to this forum than 95% of us in the past 3 months. Do your thing, CC.

I'm not worried about one guy. I've been giving info for 20 years and it's normally about 90% right.

I can't help that 17-18 year olds say one thing and do another. These kids get pulled in 20 different directions by coaches, boosters, parents, handlers, guardians..etc. That is why I have consistently said recruiting changes by the hour. 17-18 year olds are easily impressionable.

He can do/say what he wants. I just know how "insider info" turns out 99.99999% of the time.

SAban gonna be pissed. We gonna sign #1 and #2 class next year.

Seen some talk about our practice of slow playing a number of kids has bit us on arse big time this year.

I saw that too by Drew DeArmond. I like Drew, but that isn't the main reason.

Coaching instability is what I believe made this class finish less than what was expected.

Kids love relationships and they didn't really have any with the new coaches.

Nobody is more ticked than Saban.

I am fine with what we got this year in recruiting. Georgia is a shiny new penny right now but its still only worth a penny. Sustaining success is difficult and will be the difficult thing for Kirby. Georgia lost like 30 players from last years team and they needed an influx of talent. We lost our OC, DC, CB coach and these guys were recruiting several of our key players. This wasn't a great year for DT's and that and CB's is what we needed most. We signed 4 great CB's and we had signed several of the best last year too. I would look for us to put on the full court press this year on these instate kids. These young recruiters will help.

Biggest thing that happened on DL, IMO, is the fact that Dunbar wanted to go back to the NFL, because he hates to recruit. It was going to be announced after NSD. (it showed)

Then, he decided to stay. I definitely think other schools used that against Bama.

Pretty sure Saban will address the DL lackluster recruiting.

Oh come on plano, he has super secret coaching sources. Just irks me when fans do this. Loved him until he went somewhere else and now suddenly he became a cheater.

We see a coach act one way and then another often when they are in different surroundings. Putting Kirby back in Georgia, add that to a booster network that rivals few, and you've got the recipe for some pretty serious negative recruiting. I'm not suggesting there's a Rodney Garner factor playing into the game in Athens. I'm certainly saying Kirby is throwing shit out there as well as any of them. He's certainly in an Urban Meyer league when it comes to pure bullshit on the recruiting trail.

Now, who does he have to report to at the end of the day?

FWIW Josh, I'd back off the mocking of Brown telling the UA staff his intentions were to sign with Bama. That's been going on for more than a few days now and it wasn't as if the staff suddenly lost contact. We'll see how it goes for him with this auspicious start of his collegiate career.

Could be worse...we could have Herm at the helm and sitting in #78 w/o a single 4 star.

I'm not upset at the least with this year. The signs have been there all along. One thing for sure, this will make Saban work that much harder to fix this.
