Interesting note on Walker ... been the general consensus he'd end up in Athens but UGA just flipped an in-state guy that was committed to Michigan at the same position.

We've seen that with Surtain, LSU and the Raymond connection, etc.

I saw where @crimsoncorner mentioned Raymond leaving a few pages ago and I've had people from LSU say "it's not happening now." I didn't press, but I certainly wondered what "happening now" actually means.

Word is that Ed O wanted him out. This is from one of our mutual buddies.

See that is the kind of pressure and stupidity that goes into this shit. Everyone pressuring, promising, crawfishing and propositioning these kids who don't even understand the gravity of what they are doing. Landry should be ashamed and be proud of this kid for putting himself in this position and on his big day. This looks bad for Landry and LSU for how they handle things.

I love how Bama guys tell these recruits that they just need to do what is best for them and just sells what you can do at Bama if you want to put in the work. Looks good on us.

I can't recall who it was I heard that from but I recall the context ... someone I was talking to about recruiting and that was being used against Harbaugh on the recruiting trail. A week or so following that conversation I saw the same rumor pop up on Twitter from a NFL guy.

There's a few things going on with this story that conflict the narrative coming from LSU. The logic of the assumptions Surtain would end up in Baton Rouge really lacked foundation these last few weeks.

Landry's was a sub-tweet. He didn't tag a certain individual. The timing of Landry's tweet has led most to think it was about Surtain.
