Way to go, BigAl.

They kept saying that every seat was filled for the game. Yet, I see a lot of empty seats. Is that because so many were standing around the ramps?

It depends on what time of the game it is really. It didn't fill up until mid 2nd quarter and then everyone got up for halftime. A lot of people actually left at halftime(including me). So, it might of been a short time but the stadium was full.

Oh, I don't doubt the stadium was full. But, we left at the end of the 3rd period, and there were a bunch of seats in the north end zone that were empty the whole game. I just figured folks were standing rather than sitting.

By the way, how did they count the 92,138? There were no turnstiles or ushers with hand counters.

Don't mean this to sound negative. Just reporting my observation. For all I know, there may have been 93,000 people in there.

It could of very well been 5k less then 92,138. They did start to turn people away at a certain time however, so my thoughts were we could of been full in certain areas. We may never know how much we really had but at one time that I looked all around the stadium, there were very little spots open. :D

A-Day attendance

It was miserably hot and humid. A lot of people were making frequent visits to the interior of the concourse to cool down. There were many small children in our section and the parents would take turns with them in the shade.
