🏈 Muschamp new florida coach!!

I am truly shocked at their choice, especially considering they could have had a proven successful head coach. I thought Jeremy Foley just looked like a dumb guy. I guess I had him pegged right.
I really just can't believe it.

I think the SEC is in for some dark days. I'd like to believe that we're heading toward a time when only Alabama and maybe one other school is nationally competitive. But I'm afraid the coaching change decisions, coupled with shady dealings at places like Auburn, is going to bring down the overall strength and standing of the conference.

If Auburn somehow loses to Oregon, next year, the SEC will be given all kinds of critique as being on the downward slide into just another conference. Mainly based on the results of one game, but more on the losses of very good football coaches, and still even more on the perceived lack of skill of some of the head coaches. If Newton goes pro and Auburn slides into oblivion as I expect, Chizik is going to look like a very, very large tool, even if Malzahn were still there.

Not keeping up much with Will Muschamp himself over the past years just b/c he has not really been on Bama's radar-- obviously other than one year ago and even then I paid more attention to the players and the offense of Texas than the defense and Muschamp-- I've never really seen him in a proper setting, such as a press conference. But watching his introduction to Florida, he is more like Saban than anyone I'ver seen from the Saban tree. It took CWM less than a minute to say "aight" just like Saban does, he's very proper in the presser but emotion-filled on the field, and he talks with this hands making sometimes odd, nonsensical, and seemingly unfitting hand gestures-- ALL JUST LIKE SABAN. It's hilarious, really...

Its crazy, in like 5 years the SEC is just gonna be Coach Saban and little mini Sabans. It's insane to see the success his proteges are having. If Georgia does poorly again next season and they kick Richt to the side, I fully expect Coach Smart to be the head man there. That would make 3 Head Coaches in the SEC former Saban assistants.

I don't agree with that at all and no logical thinking person would think the SEC is in a "downward slide" because Auburn loses. That would be beyond asinine. An SEC team has been to the National Championship 4 of the last 5 years, you can't ignore that regardless. Hiring 'young coaches' does not mean hiring a bad coach.
