Does anyone know if the MISS State Kick Returner guy joined the team? Just curious. He was a David Palmer type for Croom from what everybody over there says.

Hopefully he'll keep his grades up and be a big factor on returns.
More info from al.com:
TUSCALOOSA -- Running back Jonathan Lowe is expected to rejoin Alabama's football team today when walk-ons report for the first day of classes.
Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said he received Lowe's summer school results Tuesday, and was "pretty sure he will be (out there)."
With nearly two-dozen new faces, Saban said 128 or 129 players will attend practice today. The new walk-ons must undergo five NCAA-mandated acclimation days before practicing in full pads.
Lowe, a 5-foot-6 former transfer from Mississippi State, was not with Alabama at the start of preseason camp due to academic issues. Lowe had a history of breaking kick returns for the Bulldogs, and stood out on special teams during this spring's A-Day game.
He is the son of former Alabama linebacker Eddie Lowe, who played in the early 1980s.

I think at the time he transferred, he did so in an effort to try and earn a scholarship as a return man (he was on a scholarship at MSU). I don't know if he'll ever get that now or not, but last spring he showed he's got the ability to be a good return guy. I had forgotten about his dad, but that more than likely had something to do with his decision as well.
