🏈 Most Dangerous Teams for Alabama in the Playoff

With the playoff committee giving their picks for the top 4 teams in the country this week, do you have a team or teams that you think would give Alabama the hardest time from a personnel, coaching, or schematic standpoint?

The biggest loser when the committee starts making this official has to be Lousiville at this point. Things really have to change dramatically before they have a legit chance to join the party, but they do remind me of a motivated ole miss with a running game. Jackson is getting the ball downfield and he has legs. It will be fine with me if they remain at least #5 or lower. Ohio State has come back to reality. It alway takes a little time with that schedule, but where's the speed for the buckeyes? I think we match up well with Harbaugh's team and Clemson just seems to be a step below last year's group.

But at this point of the season nothing would make me happier than Houston finishing off the Cardinals.

I think it would be Louisville with Lamar Jackson running the plays and most important would be Bobby calling the plays is just as scary, I know he never beat BAMA while at Arkansas , but he always gave us more than we wanted and he had lesser talent. I guess Clemson is much the same , because we've played them last year , so they know what we do in certain situations in the game and they probably won't line up in that crazy kick return alignment .

I will wait until we actually make the playoffs. Rankings mean nothing if you don't finish the race to the playoffs.

However, based on what we know now .. Clemson may have holes but they will be out for blood after last year. If we meet them, I'd be nervous.

I still wouldn't mind driving/flying to Houston to watch the game live.

That's going to be a very good matchup. I'm starting to think all this Tom Herman to coach everywhere talk has taken the edge and shine off this team. But if they get their second wind, start playing better, they got these cardinals at home and they can score. I give them a punchers chance.

I think Ohio State would be the toughest challenge. They have the talent and depth like we do where most others don't. plus their quarterback is damn good. louisville will be troubke too, but they don't have as many pieces as Ohio State.

If the playoffs were today we'd face TAM again. Anytime you face the same team twice in the same season they become the most challenging team to beat twice. The season is still far from over and I think Washington won't be locked out if they are undefeated.
