Ok I have all but boycotted all pro sports but I did catch the last 2 innings of this. The 9th ending was legendary and could not have been scripted any better. Reminded me of why I fell in love with the game of baseball as a kid.

I watched this game last night from the start up until the 7th inning. The opening, when Kevin Costner came out of the cornfield, followed by the players was very moving. It was fun to enjoy baseball again last night. I remember as a youngster being Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Brooks Robinson, Sandy Koufax etc... playing in my yard. MLB got it right last night.

First time that I’ve actually watched any MLB in a couple of years. The intro was chilling!!! It was nice to take a few moments and forget all of the bickering and bantering over politics and the C word and just watch America’s past time!!
