The ladies are 15-3 in conference...more than a handful of games separate the Tide from the second place Vols.

Weds night, on the road against Auburn.

BTW, by the term "worn out," Jackie threw 170+ pitches today.

Softball. Softball Falls in Extra Innings to Mississippi State, 4-3, in Series Finale

It took 10 innings to break up a pitcher's duel in Sunday's rubber match between Alabama and Mississippi State, but a three-run Crimson Tide lead in the 10th inning was not enough as the Bulldogs mounted a big rally in the bottom-half to earn the walk-off 4-3 victory to win the series.

Seems as if the MSU softball program has the same problem as their football program did when Jackie Sherrill was coach. Not much success against anyone but Bama because the coach spends 100% of their time devoted to beating Bama.

Arkansas football had the same problem with Danny Ford.

i realize we can't win them all, but i hate it when a streak like this ends. it just makes it all the more sucky.

and yeah, with 170+ pitches thrown i bet her arm felt like rubber before it was over.
