Via a radio interview on WWLS-FM in Oklahoma on Friday:

He went on to say, "If they can keep him off the Twitter, he might have 3-4 Heismans. He'll have that type of ability."

Some background for those who don't know: Manziel was arrested before the 2012 season for using a fake driver's license and fighting at a bar. Then, after the big bowl win vs. Oklahoma, he was spotted drinking at a 21+ club (he is 20). He also posted some pictures of himself with casino winnings on Twitter.


I think Manziel is already 'pretty good'! And Stoops would seem to be a little bitter

You can add me to this list. Also put me on the list of people who are waiting for the "fall from grace" story. He won't have an NFL career at QB but will be picked high. He will not pan out, blow his truncated earnings, and wind up a bum.

I'm not being a hater. I hope that modest prognostication is inaccurate. I just think he is at his apex now.
