I read he had enrolled in Northeast Mississippi Comm. College and if that is the case he would have to graduate in two years to be eligible for SEC play...at least, that is the way I recall the rules reading.

Ricks won’t be enrolling at Alabama. After two years at NE Miss CC, he tried to enroll at Bama last year but fell short academically. Instead, he ended up enrolling at UNA last year (it’s unclear if he played football there or just attended classes). Word is he will probably walk-on at Troy next year.

He was supposed to enroll for each semester over the last couple or three years. He never does. He'll never play a down at BAMA.
