He moved the ball nicely at times in the second half but never led the offense to points again. Then his worst mistake came when he under threw his receiver and Saints rookie safety Vinnie Sunseri stepped up to make the interception that led to a field goal early in the fourth quarter.

"It went right to Vinnie Sunseri of all people, freaking Alabama," said Mettenberger, referencing their old SEC rivalry. "I've got to get that ball over top of him and we have a guy wide open. I will work on that this week."
