He came to visit Damion Square and Chance during our signing with them. Very polite, well-spoken chap. You can tell the Bama interest came late by listening to him talk and ask questions and such. He's a good kid though. He'll do we'll at Bama

The fact that these kids can barely vote is lost on most fans. I will freely admit
I've done the same thing in the past. We take it all personally--we love our schools and feel others should as well. The problem is, most kids look at it as a business decision. Where you grew up wanting to play may not be your best shot at a future. Since diving into these business ventures (not with Dee) my perspective has drastically changed.

I figured positive comments were rare from AU fans in re: Dee. Of course I joked with him about it and he actually apologized. I told him he should never apologize for doing what he thinks is right. I wanted him at Auburn but I don't have to live with his decision forever, he does. Contrary to what most AU folk will say, there was no "set up." He's a good kid and found AU at the wrong time. He won't have any more problems than the average recruit. If he keeps his nose clean he'll do great.

I hope I get to talk to him again after his first "4th Quarter" program. That question made me chuckle.

Good stuff Duder. Proud to see my fellow Muscle Shoals alum suiting up in crimson. We haven't had too many lately, Tiffin and Jason Allen.

But yeah Duder, I was totally going to stop by last week at the Galleria, but ended up having to head back to visit the family in Muscle Shoals. Hate that I missed it.
