Those good ol’ Auburn Tigers did what they do best: build up expectations only to massively disappoint. The 8th ranked War Tigers went to Mississippi State and put together an offense that would make a Will Muschamp Florida offense look competent. Defensively the Eagle Tigers equaled their offensive ineptitude. The Bulldogs out-rushed Auburn 349 to 90! Auburn lost 23-9.
