Wednesday night, maybe Thursday morning, word started floating around about a second team (we've discussed TCU as the opener) that had been contacted as a replacement for USC.

Gary Stoken, who handles the Chick-Fil-A series, said in an interview that UA vs ND is one of the games being discussed. The Domers are having a time with their schedule.

Another case where it's the lack of willing participants. It's that way with Bama, as you've been shown, and it's this way with the possibility of ND vs UA. Both, forced, because the other participants are not willing to play.

It's easy to adjust schedules when many original games are canceled (with no payment required). ND is in a jam since their Pac12 and Big10 games are canceled. They only play 6 ACC games.
