Coop and Collins are both top ten picks.

There are three certainties in life: death, taxes, and SEC football players getting drafted in the first round.
ESPN’s Todd McShay released his first 2015 mock draft on Wednesday, and 10 of the 32 players he projects are SEC players, including five of the top 11.
It’s still fairly early in the evaluation process for NFL teams, which aren’t even close to producing their own big boards yet. But time’s running out for players to put good performances on video, and performing in shorts and T-shirts and in interviews can only do so much for a player’s NFL prospects.
Here’s how the SEC’s first-round players currently project, according to McShay.
5. Missouri DE Shane Ray (Washington Redskins)
6. Alabama WR Amari Cooper (New York Jets)
7. Florida DE Dante Fowler Jr. (Atlanta Falcons)
9. Alabama S Landon Collins (Chicago Bears)
11. Texas A&M OT Cedric Ogbuehi (Minnesota Vikings)
27. LSU OT La’El Collins (Indianapolis Colts)
28. Mississippi State LB Benardrick McKinney (Green Bay Packers)
29. Georgia RB Todd Gurley (Seattle Seahawks)
30. Kentucky DE Bud Dupree (Arizona Cardinals)
31. South Carolina G A.J. Cann (New England Patriots)
McShay also had Arkansas DE Trey Flowers in his ā€œtop five prospects still available.ā€

Lord I hope Cooper doesn't go to the cancer filled Jets. He's not built to handle that media and I f'ing hate the Jets and the entire organization with the way they handle business. They're like Oakland, it's where your career dies.

I'm curious what makes you say this?

He's just a shy guy. He doesn't like attention focused on him. The New York media likes that "Team Me" attitude and loves to get in these guys' faces and never let you breathe. I'm not saying he can't handle it, just know he'll not like the limelight New York brings.

I firmly believe them and the Jets are the ones responsible for ending Tebow's career. Say what you want, but the guy had talent to play somewhere, but they just stacked the odds against him.

While I would love to see Coop (AND Collins) go to the Steelers, it won't happen because Tomlin's a draft day moron and won't draft Bama players. Instead of the Jets though, I hope that Coop can land somewhere with a young and developing QB. They'll make quite the tandem for a number of years. The Jets...Well, they don't know QBs. Rex Ryan's replacement...Nah, he won't know QBs either.

I wish the Falcons would trade up to get Coooooooop. Trade Roddy White and have two Alabama boys running routes and then draft Gurley if he's around in the second or third round. I know we need defense, but I feel if we can atleast score at will, the defense can play bend but don't break to give us an opportunity.

As much as I would love to see Coop and Julio together in ATL that would be a horrible decision. If you are gonna trade Roddy you get extra picks and a veteran that can help either on the o-line or secondary. It doesnt matter if you have Julio and Cooper or Marvin Harrison and Jerry Rice to throw to if the QB is getting his ass handed to him on every play because the O-Line is terrible. The defense is god awful too so we need more picks and to have a decent year of free agent pickups for once. Im sick of ATL signing over the hill free agents as if somehow thats gonna do the trick. They dont wanna spend the money to get quality players from free agency.

I completely agree with you on signing the over the hill free agents. We could easily have gotten a few veterans on that defense and made a good push. I thought we should have drafted defense instead of Matthews and signed a between offensive lineman. We have a ton of holes, so I'm to the point of stacking our offense like the Broncos and working on the defense with proven veterans. It'll never happen, because like you said they won't spend the freaking money.

Matthews I was okay with because the only two others I would have taken at that spot were Khalil Mack or CJ Mosley. Mack was gone and I didnt feel like the Falcons would be willing to take an inside backer there. Actually would have been nice to trade that pick to someone to get two first round picks or a veteran and a later first round pick and been able to take HaHa late in the 1st. Coaches think Trufant is the answer at corner but I have as much faith in him as I do the rest of that terrible secondary. The whole staff needs to be fixed too.
