How about McCarron tonight? 20-28, 4 TD's..Took on Barret Jones :chat2_fight:. All I could think of was how Jessie Palmer was saying how he was not "elite" before the game...He made all the throws tonight, played with great poise, and made some good play calls at the L.O.S...And has posted the best stats for an Alabama QB in the title game....

He finishes the season now with a 30-3 TD-INT ratio and has more National Titles than he does losses.

Can't help but remember the Sims vs McCarron QB debate and people saying McCarron's sort of reminded them of Brodie Croyle...Come a lonnggg way.

AJ is ELITE. No question. So glad he is returning. And that O-line needs a massive thank you for protecting him so well all year.

Amazing what he can do when he is healthy. Not only did he silence the critics (AGAIN), he represented Alabama very well in the postgame interviews. When is the last time you heard a kid being interviewed say "Yes Mam?" I also thought he and Barrett stole the show on the ESPN set, when they were interviewing AJ and Barrett just walked on to the set. They were great representitives of their team, their school, their families and their communities. Alabama fans should be proud.
