🏈 "Maybe if you win, I'd be on time" as Brian Kelly threatens to levy $10 fine on being late.

The reporter's explanation and an example of how people are just freaking out about all of this. It was funny. Unprofessional? On whose part?

I don't see what is so funny about it? A journalist is never funny to me when questioning a subject that is in the game and working hard, whereas the journalist is just there because of the subject. Maybe I'm just an ass, but I don't see it the same way Dan does as veing "funny". Kind of disrespectful to say that to a coach or player.

If you weren't late to a meeting and someone called you out, how would you respond?

If you act like a dick don't expect me to act like a pussy (a sexist would say.*)

* $1 to Gutfeld

I get how the conversation went down, but another journalist calling it funny after seeing how it's being taken out of context just seems tasteless after the way the game went down and their best player not named Boutte got hurt. I admit, I'm probably too sensative towards journalist and their cocky asses, but just my initial thoughts.

Hey, coach... lock the door and don't let them in if they are late. Don't call them out and bring stupid attention to it. The media person should have never responded as they did, but the coach calling them out opened himself and the team up to an off topic response... so lesson learned on both sides (although I doubt Kelly learned anything... he seems like a stubborn I'm always in the right type of guy)

Yeah I watched a video from the reporter yesterday about it. Apparently she has a decent relationship with ole fake Cajun and the only people that were making a big deal about it had nothing to do with it.

He was evidently joking (he started the press conference early to begin with) and knew she was, too.

Maybe he'll think twice before bouncing his soup coolers together next time. Naw, I know he won't won't, but he shoulda learned. He isn't King of anything down here. He's not above retaliation when he opens his mouth trying to be a funny smart ass. Ain't but one coach earned that respect.
( See my Avtar.) I hope every time he says something smart ass, someone sticks it to him like she did. Press, player, cheerleader, random fan of LSU or an opposing team, the ice-cream man on Kelly's home route. He's despicable for insinuating his team had no chance during the 1/2 time interview against LSU, and when Bama was beating that ass for the Natty.
