I got the impression last season he's a real "Texas" guy and I don't mean that just UT, but the state in general. The comments he made about the invitation to speak at Houston last year gave me the impression he's a "state" guy.

Now, if we're talking about his allegiance if UT is facing A&M, or Houston for that matter? He's wearing that god awful suit again.

I think these are PR stunts by Texas to use a Hollywood celebrity as a way of building and creating buzz. Don't get me wrong, I know the guy loves Texas and his alma mater, we all do. I applaud his support, which is rarely seen by a person of his career and status. But if he was sitting there and told me, as a player, to get up and cheer I'd tell him to kiss my fuggin ass. This ain't "We Are Marshall", you're not a coach, so please stay out of the way. Those players have put in more hours than most can imagine to get to the position they are in, they don't need some hot shot celebrity in their ear on top of coaches.
