WHEN THE SPECIALISTS EMERGE

Arkansas has attempted just four field goals and it's missed two of them, both coming from more than 40 yards. Sam Irwin-Hill has been a solid punter for Arkansas but he's no JK Scott, who would be second in the nation in punting average if he punted enough to qualify. The issue for Alabama, though, is on its coverage units, which have been particularly dreadful on kick returns. Arkansas, meanwhile, has been one of the SEC's best on kick returns.
