Does anyone think he might transfer to a lower classification to avoid sitting out another year?

Quick question.....when you have to sit a year, do you also lose that year of eligibility?......

It was more like a month to 6 weeks ago...

And I asked a while back around signing day, anyone heard from Terry P? Is he ok? He's on here round the clock and then disappears. Hope the guy is ok.

You do. If a guy transfers to a DII or JUCO school he doesn't have to sit out at all tho. If you're a Sophomore and transfer to West Virginia then you have to sit out the Junior year with just one year of eligibility left.

South Alabama is Division I now, think they're in the Sun Belt with Troy.

Shinn is OK to transfer down and not sit a year but any transfer to a D1 school means a missed year UNLESS he could get some type of waiver like Phillip Simms did leaving us for UVA.
