That female broadcaster is Robin Roberts. She was a scholarship basketball and tennis player at Southeastern Louisiana University. She went on to go into sports broadcasting and eventually became a Sportscenter anchor on ESPN before taking the high-paying GMA gig. She knows a little something about football in the south.
