🏈 Manziel proves he's the best quarterback in the SEC

He dances away from defenders and he seemed like he plays much bigger than he is. He's a strong guy. Listening to the radio in traffic last night, they were calling him a butterfly. I think it was a compliment, but I'm not sure.

Looks to me like AJ will be back next year.

Hes good, REALLY good... his feet is really the problem, and I dont just mean when he takes off. So many times when he got away what should have been SURE sacks our DBs lost their assignments in the secondary. The play where he almost fumbled the ball and escaped the pocket and found what seemed like a WIDE OPEN receiver in the back of the endzone. Vinnie had that guy covered up but as soon as he saw Manziel scramble he left his assignment and went after Manziel despite there being two guys there to contain Manziel if he actually ran which left the receiver all alone. That happened way too much. Gotta give him credit but also gotta put alot of it on the defense for just not being disciplined.

I didn't watch the game. I was out camping but eventually I couldn't stand getting the texts, so I pulled up Eli on the sirius radio. I say that b/c I've just seen some hi-lights of the game.

The kid played a lights out game, got lucky in some cases (no disrespect, it happens to them all) & flat out whipped some players. I absolutely love the idea of CNS getting another chance at this guy b/c it seems clear that too many times that defense lost their minds from playing disciplined ball. They let too many other factors influence their play & a QB like him will do that to a defense, from the coaches on down.

I am almost considering buying tickets to travel to that game to see him get it. I just hope they are undefeated when it happens.

My biggest shock from this game is that the offense did such a poor job in the first quarter. It was like they let what the A&M offense dictate what play by trying strike back. That will not happen again the next time around.
