🏈 Man Do We Have Alot of Weapons or What

The more I watch videos and read articles the more I sit back and say man we have alot of weapons. There is Julio, Maze, Hanks, Earl, McCoy, Gibson, Norwood, Bowman, Smelley, Peek, Richardson, Upchurch, Imgram, Grant and so on and so on. Is it just me or does this seem like the most weapons we have had in a long time.

Still,makes you wonder how much of a massacre it will be.

We certainly have more "potential" weapons than we have had in a long time. Here's hoping these come to fruition on the field on Sept 5th. :a:

It sure is exciting to think about and certainly more weapons on one team than we've had in a long time. Fortunately, I take heart knowing that CNS will keep the team grounded and focused and not let them get too full of themselves about the overall talent level.

I had a conversation yesterday about the offense and we both kept coming back to how many of these guys are still underclassmen.

Even losing a few seniors like Roy, Colin and Drew the talent we have waiting in the wings is truly something to behold.

No doubt, this is a good problem to have. The other problem being how to spread the wealth around to keep these weapons wanting more. We're definitely headed in the right direction.

It would be nicer if we had some PROVEN weapons. You listed 3 (Julio, Ingram and Upchurch). All the others are based on potential. You could make an argument for Grant, but he's in a battle right now for 3rd string. Smelley proved himself to be an able player, but I'm not going to say he's a proven weapon just yet.
