18 when I pulled out of the driveway this morning. We had snow yesterday but the road crews have everything in good shape for the morning drive. Most of the snow is south of us.

About 25 this morning, but it's warming up nicely and it'll be warmer and sunny much of the week. I moved twenty wheelbarrow loads of dirt Saturday morning ahead of some masonry work that started today. Still have some more chainsaw work ahead of me. It's a good week for it.

Thirty and sunny at the moment in Boone NC after a low last night of ~19. Six inches of snow on the ground with more expected tomorrow night, and I'm going broke throwing out corn for the deer that congregate in my back yard. Last week I had to run a bear off of my front porch where he was shopping for a pre-hibernation snack.

Not if the cars will still start in early January. We usually stick around here for the first couple of weather disasters to remind us why we're leaving.

I'm glad to see this year end. The weather has been off its rocker the last few weeks.

I'm guessing it's between 55-58, somewhere around there right now. This type of morning means it'll be close to 70 this afternoon. Great weather, right? It's the middle of December...but I see the words "cold front" coming in and decide to look.

Low tonight? 21. Almost a 50 degree drop. That's bullshit.

It'll be back to 65'ish Tuesday...70's by Thursday.

I remember when we had a weird snap several years ago. And by several, I'm talking about '07-'09? I played golf on Monday, woke up to 4-5" in areas on Weds., and was back out Friday (it was wet, cart path only.)

The rest of this year? 65/45 every day give or take a degree.
