Let's just say he was playing a little golf yesterday.
Or, let me put it this way. Back in the late 90's, early 2000's, the Hilton chain used to offer 1 million to any PGA tour member who shot a 59 (I don't believe they do any longer—I believe two players took home that bonus.) Jim Furyk shot a 59 last year—week of the A&M game. He was only the sixth player in history to card that low of a score in a tournament.
On that note about Fuyrk, David Duval who once shot a 59 before disappearing off the golf map because of a chronic back problem is doing reasonably well in the PGA event in Nawlins this weekend. I hope he's able to start being a regular. I used to root for him a lot more than I did Phil.
At one time, I played 2-3 times a week but have only played twice in the past 10 years. I probably could shoot a 61 but it would be 9 holes instead of 18. Congrats on this outstanding accomplishment!
