🏈 M. Basketball. Men's Basketball Falls to No. 2 Kentucky, 66-55

I don't feel anywhere near as bad about last night as I do about the three games that preceded it. Plain and simple, Kentucky has a lot more talent than we do, and a lot more size. Our effort was good all the way, and we hung around in one of the toughest places to play in the country. I don't want us to ever start thinking that playing a strong team close and losing is a good thing, but there were some good things in the game for us.

I was able to listen to the first half and then watch the second once I got home. Once again, they played hard and played some solid D. We got roughed up on the boards and a few guys should be told " you don't shoot unless you are all by yourself underneath the basket."

I must admit, the play was much better last night. Still never happy with a loss, but we were never supposed to even be in the game with Kentucky. I really think the loss at auburn was what sent the team in it's current direction. If we win at the barn a few weeks back, then we probably win at least one of the games against Ole Miss or Florida. I just know we had better not get swept by the barn AGAIN this year. They have swept us the last three seasons, so we are about due to win one in that series. The re-match with Arkansas will most likely be a loss. The road games at Georgia, South Carolina, and Mississippi State are not in our favor, but if we play the way we did last night, we just might pull an upset in one of those.
