I wasn't familiar with this tradition, but the stars came out for it.
Leonard Fournette (0-3), Patrick Peterson (2-2). Derrius Guice (0-3), Jalen Mills (0-3), Michael Clayton (2-1), D.J. Chark (0-3), JaMarcus Russell (3-0), Eric Alexander (3-1), Lamar Louis (0-4), Brandon Lafell (2-2), Marlon Favorite (2-1), Kirston Pittman (5-0), Matt Flynn (4-0), Jordan Jefferson (2-3) and Rickey Jefferson (0-4) led the team in hopes of a victory. (Records against 'Bama, total, in parentheses).
All told, the collection of players had seen victories in Baton Rouge, collectively, 13 out of 55 games with Alabama, and 7 of the 15 had NEVER had a win in Baton Rouge - 6 had never beaten 'Bama. Russell, Pittman, and Flynn could remember the good old days (the Mike Shula days).
