🏈 "LSU boasts an 86-11 record on Saturday night home games since 2000."

I was sent this link last night to a thread on Tigerdroppings.

A quick recap for you if you don't want to click over and read...

They don't want to play Bama at night in Death Valley any longer. They want to go back to a 2:30 kick.

In case you've forgotten, back in '11 CBS had to jump through a few hoops to get the LSU vs Bama game moved to primetime. LSU made one demand.

If they were going to agree to moving the game to primetime in Nov. of '11, CBS would have to agree to broadcast the Bama vs LSU game in '12 at night as well. In Death Valley, at night...

Be careful what you ask for because you might not like what you get in the end.

**And by the way, you won't find much of a difference in how well LSU plays in the afternoon against ranked teams than you will when they face them at night.

i was laughing quite a bit after the game saturday and into sunday at what had happened.

everyone said BAMA hadn't been tested, yet. they said lsu was the most complete team we'll have faced all year. they said Tua hadn't been tested against a good defense (i guess they forgot about what he did, AS A TRUE FRESHMAN, back in january against the #1 defense in the biggest game of the season). they said lsu in death valley, at night, was like a totally different monster. i guess they forgot, again, how this teams addresses stuff like that. they go in and play a game so dominating on defense, that the only one more dominating in Coach Saban's time at ALABAMA was the 2011 BCS national championship game against lsu.

both times, lsu got what they wanted. both times they got what they asked for. both times, they were shut out and made to look like fools.

as @TerryP said...be careful what you wish for...you just might get it.
