šŸ“” Louisiana HS coach explains why #Alabama isn't welcomed on campus. (UPDATE: Coach Fired!)

And now Barnett is taking some time out of his surfing schedule to tell the world that against USC he wasn't scared and was unfairly labeled by a certain coach. What a loser/quitter.

Just for the hell of it I decided to watch the first part of the USC game again last night. To me, he did look a little shook up--not quite a "deer in the headlights" look, but close.

What struck me as funny is the first person to mention it was Herbie.

I would say that Jalen had the nerves in his first possession, but he quickly moved on and executed the game plan. Barnett couldn't execute until later in the second half with a comfortable lead. But you're right, I do remember that Herbie said it first. Why doesn't the press and Barnett remember that?

Herbie likes to make his reputation as being (nearly) a football savant, but a lot of times all he does is point out the obvious. And as far as the rest of the media is concerned, he's a darling. He and that idiot Katy Perry were perfect together on Game Day last year. So, it's okay when he makes that kind of comment, but weeks later when Sat...Saban makes that comment..."Oh! He's such a cold-hearted coach!"

Blah-blah-blah... That's how Saban treats the media; I'll be glad to follow his lead.

My guess is that'll piss off the recruits and Bama will get the blame somehow, at least it'll be used against Bama in recruiting those two kids.

The ex-coach enjoyed politics a lot more than coaching football. I suspect the visiting broadcasters from other teams that were banished off the stadium property will feel justice has been served. Emotional stability is not a gift that everyone excels in. Even the Cajuns who heard his radio rants commented that this dude was wound tighter that Jim Harbaugh on a sleepover.

One call from REC headquarters

I don't think there can be any doubt about that.

On somewhat of a serious note, I saw where the principle had mentioned something along the lines of unwarranted attention, or bad publicity ... something along those lines. It did bring up the thought of how much the phone must have been ringing when the first story broke.

Administrators are all about the PR now and test scores. School discipline can be God awful but "We are going to look pleasing to the eye and have good scores!"

On another note, Ol' Feaster sounds like he needs some Beaudreaux Butt Paste for that chapped and fired ass!!

You don't mess around with the Nicktator.

Parkway High School coach David Feaster has been let go days after saying in a radio interview that Alabama recruiters weren’t welcome on campus, the Shreveport Times reports.

Feaster had been the coach at Parkway for six seasons. He had reportedly made Alabama coaches unwelcome recruiting his program for more than a year, but recently drew attention after doubling down on that stance publicly on ESPN Radio, saying Alabama was not ethical in their recruiting tactics.

"LSU's welcome in my school anytime," Feaster said. "The only school that can't come to Parkway is Alabama. And there's a long story behind that, but it had to do with not being ethical in their recruiting.ā€

Parkway administration felt his comments brought negative attention and could hurt their players’ recruitment. Some ill will apparently stemmed from the recruitment of former Parkway and later LSU quarterback Brandon Harris.

In 18 years, Feaster is 168-66 as a head coach.

Intresting enough....but even if you don't agree with recruiting process...why would you be high and mighty enough to keep a school from recruiting ur kids...
I would bet there is the " i hate Bama" somewhere in the coaches background...
See where his 5star goes...
