šŸˆ Looking back at the 2018 team

Saban had a mess on his hands with the staff going into that game... Locklsey was leaving (though he wasn't an issue)... Gattis was leaving and was mentally checked out, Enos was looking for an exit, Kuligowoski was nothing more than a warm body and his group overall reflected such, Lupoi's head was spinning and he was looking for an exit... etc. And that was just on the staff. Was a rare instance where Saban just couldn't manage things like he normally did because so many coaches were pulling in different directions.

...and Clemson likely had Bama's signs/signals. LOL

In looking back at the 2018 team, how did a team with that much talent, lose by four touchdowns, four touchdowns! in the national championship game?

And. Played awful. How many times inside 10 and come away with no points.
Coaches leaving. Etc

Tua got hurt. Didn't help.

Clemson just laid a kick ass on bama.
Like @Brandon Van de Graaff said

And may have been scheming for bama for many weeks ahead of game announcement

Wasn’t that the year we chased Kyler Murray in the Miami heat? aU with a lake played the Catholics in Arlington. My 2 prong 200 mile analysis, we were exhausted and Clemson had some ā€œhelpā€.
By the way, anyone know how many 1st drive pick 6’s Indiana had this past season?

This!!!!! My memory is not what it used to be, but If I remember correctly, it was 5 times we got down in FG range and came away with 0 points. 15 points was not a difference maker, but could have put more pressure on them to do things and might have helped us, but they dang sure had our number that night.
