The only thing I will say is that we haven't played a team equivalent to when LSU played us last year. We haven't had to play a team like that this year(not many out there to make it possible), so I find it hard to compare whether or not we've had it easier or more difficult. Sure, an All-SEC schedule, but Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, Arkansas, and others just aren't tipping the scales, and Auburn, Georgia, A&M, and Tennessee don't seem to be as tough this year as last.

If we can spank Florida and put up our yardage and hold them, I'll have some faith that we are on par with that LSU team offensively. Burrow with 60, Edwards-Helaire with 16 rushing, that's a lot of offense.

Hell I just showed you what the teams were scoring on average...that accounts for all those TDs 😁.

Yeah, not all teams got to play a limited Tua last year.

Again, LSU 9 games, Alabama 10 games

Mac with 27 PaTDs, Najee with 22 RuTDs = 49
Joe with 32 PaTDs, Clyde with 12 RuTDs. = 44

And LSU just got taken behind the woodshed in recruiting. Remember what Coach O said he was going to do to Alabama in recruiting? Welp...

Yeah, once I posted I figured those numbers I was saying (60/16) were probably games with the SEC Championship and Playoffs, but there is still no way we catch them touchdown wise is what I'm saying. I get your "limited Tua" comment, but we still scored a bunch of points and so did they. At this juncture I feel they played the tougher schedule. Now add Florida and a couple Playoff teams and then I will feel better about comparisons.

I don't care if we catch them TD wise honestly. It's not important to me. Also I don't care what LSU did against Georgia Southern, Texas, Northwestern State, or Utah State.

I'm just putting up stats that Alabama is thumping teams by more points and with more points against SEC opponents.

I was surprised.

I agree with you 100%, and in the end all that matters is holding the big Mount Blanc trophy. They just went on a tear last year, so it is a standard to hold an high powered potential record breaking offense too, especially with as much publicity as they received. I hope we can keep it up and make our mark. if we can do what they did to Clemson to Clemson or Ohio State this year I will be a very happy man.

Stack on top of that is we've played 10 SEC teams.... No Ga. Southern, NW State, Utah State and SEC Vandy on the schedule for us this season as compared to to LSU's 1st 5 games of 2019. Our 1st 5..... Missouri, Texas aTm (#13) at the time of the game, Ole Miss, Jawja (#3) at the time of the game, and Vol'n'Tears. :).... sorry, Plano, you've already posted similar stats there... didn't see it 'til later, getting close to the weekend, things are getting blurry. :p

And doing it during covid-19 times. This is important to consider.

Lets start by doing it to UF!!!

Interesting quote:

"And all of this success isn’t entirely because he has open throw after open throw. He's actually thrown into a tight window on 15.2% of his passes this season, a rate that is about four percentage points higher than Tagovailoa's last season and is nearly double that of Justin Fields (8.3%) this year. Oh, and Jones has also been the most accurate passer on tight-window throws this season — by a large margin. "
