šŸˆ Looking at a few games from week one. Who do you like? Both straight up, and against the current spread? GAME 4: Syracuse vs. Tennessee (-12.5)

I haven't looked at the post-spring rosters for either team. It's just a "gut" thing backed with a few things I know.

QB's, as example. In my mind's eye I put the two next two each other and both have question marks. I don't see a clear advantage other than a few snaps. However, when I think about who is chasing those two guys? That's where I pause.

Texas as a few good DL coming back. Ohio State, while talented, is rebuilding a bit with a new DC.

Today, if I were to bet...

-3 normally translates to around -125. -5 or normally around -200. So, we can look at that line for OSU and see $100 is going to return $80 if they cover. Now, the spread will have a higher return: $180 vs $190.

I'm Texas covering and straight up. If I'm right in the Sportsbook here...it's be $22K+ in my "bank." at a $25K wager.

Well Terry will be doing our Sportbook this year?
As far as I know; it's the plan.

I'm waiting on 2.4 to hit...I'll have to look and see how the progress is coming along. I know it's due and due soon. When it's done here, I'll start going through things to make sure they're up to date and move from there. I know there are nine things that I'll have to do just within the core of the software here and then it'll be the other things ...

Game Two: Auburn is headed to Baylor and getting 2.5. Another cursory glance ...

This is a weird one. A lot of y'all will remember the hype that surrounded Aranda five years ago. Aranda has never moved my meter. In the '21 season when Baylor started beating ranked teams that hype returned. I wondered about the team simply because I didn't know what a '21 team would look like following the mess of '20. Since that season he has not beaten a ranked team (that I can recall.) I believe they are in a double digit losing streak to ranked opponents.

Enter Auburn. 16 - 21 in the last three seasons? Two SEC wins last year the last coming against A&M before they played Bama.

I doubt I will play this game in the 'Book. IF I did, I'm taking AU -2.5 on the road ONLY because of Jackson Arnold. That comes with the caveat, "what will Hugh be thinking that day?" The caveat? Consider his seat if he loses as a road favorite.

(In my view, Aranda coaches like Orgeron but he's in a MUCH richer environment. Yes, double entendre.)

AU has some nice purchsed talent.
...is this the AU season.....
Win and flourish
Lose and flounder. ( still have Bama at home to make a great season regardless of record)

And some of it ended up on Baylor's roster. šŸ™ƒ

Did you know their #1 and #2 QB's are both transfers from SEC schools? State, and Auburn, respectively. Kobe Prentice is on their roster.

I know AU brought in six or seven in the portal on offense. I also know two of those are back-ups to guys they also pulled in through the portal. So, if that number is six, it's really four: four new starters on offense I believe with two or three skills guys and two on the line.

As mentioned I'd take AU and the points because of one of those transfers: Jackson.

So THAT's why you have your little crush on her. Good basketball coach. Easy one to get pregnant. Just cum in her shoes and let the flies do the rest.
