🏈 Looking ahead to Ole Miss

Here's the thing. Someone in another thread compared our current Jalen Hurts offense to that of the "pussy finesse" version of *uBurn's.

Far from the case. We can, and will, be a power spread team. It's possible. UF under CUMwad comes to mind.

They may have been a spread option team, but they were pretty adept at running the dive, because their OL, with the Pouncey brothers, was stout up front.

No reason we can't have the BAMA version of a spread powerful enough that we can run it down your throat at will and with success.

That is, if the OL gels into a cohesive unit.

Do we even run a spread? How many times are we lining up with 4 WR? Spread offense typically is 4 or more WR "spreading" the field. Maybe we are doing that a lot , I don't pay too much attention to alignment...

I think we spy Chad Kelly this year...a lot of speed to keep him contained.

No need to.

We kept him mostly bottled up last year, and with less speed on D.

Outside of a couple fluke plays and 5 costly turnovers that gave them short fields and momentum, they really weren't all that effective last year.

We take care of the ball and consistently flip the field when we can't convert on O (make them earn 80 + yards on every drive), we'll be fine.

They WON'T be able to consistently March 80 yards on us.

Here to Scott doing his job. When we need it.
