I've heard more than once that Hightower will be positioned to take Rolando's spot as the field general next year. I don't doubt he's capable, but since he plays with his hand on the ground a fair amount, is he physically positioned to recognize offensive shifts, direct other players and have himself in position as well?

Any thoughts? Who else is a candidate? Barron? Green? Nico? Upshaw? Marquis Johnson?

I'd probably say Green/Barron behind Hightower making the calls. Upshaw very well may be the man that takes Anders spot at starting Jack.

My bad on Marquis. Would Kareem Jackson be in the picture?

Kareem could be a projected first rounder and leave for the NFL. You know CNS will get him the information and stear him in the right direction though. I think CNS likes for his play callers/ field coaches to be in the middle so they can see everything whereas Kareem would be isolated to one side.
