🏈 Livin' in the past for a sec; the jumbotron (update)

In a conversation last night on the phone a friend of mine told me he had seen a crew working at the stadium yesterday.

Knowing where, I asked "on what?"

"The Jumbotron. I saw them taking what looked like the letters off of the scoreboard."

Even though I knew that was coming it did remind me of some of the things I saw on that scoreboard over the years; good and bad.

But, in what could only be called a bitter-sweet moment, this picture came to mind.

Just got a text about the scoreboard being on fire. A second or two later, one of the guys on JOX mentioned it as well...and, I see a thread or two up around the 'net.

I was walking past Rama Jamas right as it happened. I dont know what was burning but it had a very odd smell to it.

It was Auburn we played the last game...
