Whether you like to agree with this or not, being the AD at UT is a top-flight job. It's one of the better ones in the NCAA.

Now that they have all of this NCAA stuff out there I'm sure those under consideration for the job are weighing what kind of situation they'd be walking into.

UT shooting for Alleva seems to me as the UT Admin. shooting to highly. Unless it's a substantial pay raise, it's a lateral move in terms of other AD jobs in D1.

seems that there are only a few people that loathe tenn more than auburn...I'm one of them. regardless, I find great humor in them getting rejected. I can only imagine that Fulmer is lobbying even harder now to eat doughnuts from the AD's chair.
