Entering the annually anticipated Alabama-LSU game, both teams are coming off a bye week. The Tigers also got back to things Monday after their first off weekend.
LSU coach Les Miles didn't skip a beat with his kickoff news conference. Full of his usual folksy charm, Miles touched on a number of topics. That included talk about Election Day, excitement for the media presence surrounding the 7 p.m. Saturday visit from Alabama, and the atmosphere he expects in Tiger Stadium.
"Our football team seems to play biggest on a big stage, and we'll look forward to getting to Tiger Stadium and allowing that fan base to rock the place, make a lot of noise, come early, stay late, eat concessions," Miles told reporters Monday in Baton Rouge. "Our guys will look forward to it. Our team plays best in Tiger Stadium. It's a magical place."
