The Easy Button Society isn't too concerned with discipline, respect, nor perseverance. College football peaked already and like most everything else is headed to a bad ending. It's been a great game for a long time.

To be fair - The evolvement of the rule is related to the evolvement of the profession. "Back in the day" coaches were given more time to turn their program around, and stayed longer to enjoy the fruits of their labor and adjoining success. So you can kind of say the same thing whether it's the athletic department or the coach in terms of "discipline, respect, and perseverance". The profession has turned into a microwaved type of world and so the personnel has followed... Which is just natural in any field of life.

Yes, the school presidents are voting later this month on the rule. The belief is, they know they have the votes for approval.

I sure hope Saban gives us that many more years. Hope his health holds out for sure. I always say that it took a moron like Miles a full decade to destroy what Saban built so it will not decay over night. Lets hope there is no stupid mistake made this time around.

Good point. Auburn has to have zero chance at landing him. I would think the best option for him outside of Clemson would be Alabama, especially for one season. Like you said though, has to be speculation due to Clemson not clearing him, other than that I could not imagine why he would leave. Still interesting to say the least.

I'd agree he's worth watching just to see where he lands. I don't believe he's a guy to watch when Alabama is concerned.

There's a possibility the staff hits the portal again for a player but it's my understanding that's dependent on the decision JTT makes.
