I'm of the opinion that Steve doesn't need another rebound job.

My point was more that he's coached at two of the more successful Pac-12 programs only to end up at one of the Pac-12s lower programs.

Doesn't make sense to me from a career standpoint, unless he's just wanting to be a head coach again anywhere.

Yeah, but some folks would rather call the shots rather than be forced to accept direction from others. Having a taste of being head honcho, you have to think that's where he wants to end up, and he won't get another top tier chance before he shows he can win again at a lower tier school.

Be some "crow eating " here is NS hired Freeze after a bunch really down on him when AU job was being replaced...lol
As for Colorado discussion....what a beautiful state...if you an outside person...
Hiking, hunting, fishing, camping....
And all cities have congestion problems...decaying infrastructure....designed and built....for previous generations....more cars/people...wheter it’s Jackson ms or chattanooga tn...or denver co
But COhas some awesome wide open spaces...
@planomateo ....whereuare moving to has some really wide open beautiful space

I absolutely love CO. I spend more time there than I do here where I live (Wyoming). My kids and I hike, snowboard, and mountain bike a ton and CO has plenty of that

Keep that in mind, Strong will have strong influence on Defensive game planning and I wouldn't be shocked if He does the game planning behind the scene and Golding just call the plays. I also wouldn't be shocked if Strong is in meetings with Golding to help players understand what's going on in the film room. This will benefits the LB group. Strong has strong background working with LBs. I'm willing to bet that we will see Kaho, Moody, Benton all of sudden looking lot better by August.

I hope he is the influence that builds it back to bama d quality...
I was hoping he would take over D and move Golding to the other weak area of Bama football....
Maybe..maybe

He's still there. Got a 5 year extension in December that averages $2 million a year over the life of it. Not sure why he is being mentioned as a possible at Bama since I doubt we would pay more than that (Sark only made like $1.5 million this year).
It's not unheard of as we saw just a few years ago with Dan Enos. Now, the dollar figures are not the same but the point here is seeing a guy leave a smaller program as head coach to join a bigger program in a coordinator role isn't unprecedented.

Do you remember Enos leaving his HC job at Central Michigan to take the OC role at Arkansas? Weird storlines there ... still close to home today. Enos took over the CMU program from Butch when he left for Cincy. Current head coach at CMU? McElwain, right?

Geez...did you know that Roy Kramer used to coach there as well?

I really hope in some weird way you're implying maybe Mac back to UA as OC?!

The irony here is that he was driving it from Los Angeles and he got busted in El Paso just driving on the freeway. My first thought when I saw the headlines, was he coming up from Mexico.

Part of me is wondering why he doesn't just buy some cheap land in the south and grow it himself. Much easier to control things.

I think you meant to post this on another thread. Maybe | FTBL - Former Auburn OT Greg Robinson & WR Quan Bray caught with 157 POUNDS of Marijuana
