🏈 Latest news and comments on Kiffin (RE: 2016 - '17)

There seems to be a belief that KIFFIN won't take any college positions since all? of the desirable HC positions have been filled. However, there is sure to be interest when the NFL coaching carousel starts. Not sure if Lane has the desire to get back in the NFL (as an OC of course).

I hope he stays. He has to be one of the best developers of QB around. I think it's amazing what he's been able to do with Blake last year and Jake this year.

I remember thinking after both of their senior spring games "we're in trouble " but thank God I was wrong.

I'm thinking he stays. I know there's a chance he takes an OC gig in the NFL, but I still think there's about a 75% chance of him staying put until a college HC positions opens next year.

Tucker is the one I think will be bolt back to the NFL when the season ends.

Beat me to it... I'm watching the post ceremony interview now and he admitted to forgetting many people because he was nervous and his heart was beating 1000 times a minute, ha!

He mentioned his position coach who worked the most with him. I don't think it was an intentional snub on Kiffin. Nothing to see here.

This. He's staying. Ordered out a big order, delivered for some recruits he was hosting, with my company tonight. He does this nearly on a weekly basis.

For the sake of stability I think Kiffin has proven a solid enough hire to want him to stay at least another year and possibly two. Especially seeing that Blake Barnett is coming down the pipe line to compete for the starting QB position. I'd love to see what Kiffin can do with him from a development and offensive scheme standpoint.
