Notre Dame does travel very well. When we played them they were loud, rowdy, and in big numbers. They are itching for a title, like Georgia.

I was actually meaning before the game. Never been jeered by a fanbase like that before. Not even good banter, just a bunch of drunk dumbasses telling us how bad we sucked and all of the inbred crap. But yes, I seeked them out after the game, but you couldn't find any of their fans.

@BamaFan334, It was a fun week even sitting at home. There's a half of a dozen or so I exchange texts with weekly, sometimes more, that were there. They don't 'run in the same circle' and each one had their experiences.

I wasn't aware that Vanderbilt had a national championship trophy by beating Notre dame.

That 2012 game versus ND was an eye opening experience. I just thought LSwho, Barn, Miami, F$U fans were bad. These Domers were awful!! The pre game banter was unbelievable but like @TerryP said, lasted about a quarter.

No I think its funny when people act like Ga has never won anything. Not you specifically but PEOPLE. If it weren't for Alabama. Georgia would be the Alabama of the 2010's. They would have Three SEC champs and two nattys this decade and prolly be the favorite this year for a third Natty. and be the likely favorite going into next year to win both of those titles again. If it weren't for the Alabama Dynasty, the wourld would be sick of the GA dynasty right now. Thank God for Alabama.

1980 was a long time ago..... and Georgia ( the state HS football programs) has
talent galore...under achievers of the SEC....as is LSU

Mainly, that discussion lends itself to national championships. Close or almost doesn't change reality or perception. You can't put them with LSU, because the Tigers have won 2 natties this century. Same reason for the Gators with 2 of their own and even the barners with one. I put them 5th place in the SEC this century. Not much to get excited about really.
