Here's a sneak peek for you guys on Lane Kiffin's playcalling this season. I'm putting together some stories on this coming up next week but wanted to show you what I found.

This is CALLED runs and passes. That means sacks and scrambles are considered CALLED PASSES, not runs as NCAA stats would suggest.

We've always had a balanced offense but this year is a bit of an anomaly.

You see 51% run calls, 49% pass calls, and you'd think that trend continued until you see 2723 yards gained on the ground versus 3653 through the air: 930 yard difference.

Last season there was almost a 560 yard difference in run to pass. In 2012 we had 133 more yards rushing, 2011 nine yards more passing, 2010, we're back to a large deficit again throwing the ball more.

It's just me and my interpretations...but, I've always enjoyed the years like 2012 and 2011 where there's little, to no, difference in total yards per given play call.
